Catherine Lewis, Wedding & Events Sales Manager

With 25 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and 11 years at Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre, Catherine brings extensive experience, knowledge and passion to her role as Wedding & Events Sales Manager.

A qualified wedding celebrant and solemniser, Catherine has a unique understanding of both the practical and personal elements that make a wedding day truly meaningful. Her dedication to couples and commitment to creating exceptional celebrations were recognised in 2026 when she was awarded Wedding Coordinator of the Year with Weddings Online and Wedding Coordinator of the Year – Munster with WeddingSuppliers.ie.

Catherine is known for her calm, caring nature and her ability to make couples feel completely at ease from their very first meeting. She takes the time to understand each couple, their ideas and what makes their relationship special, ensuring every wedding feels personal and unique.

With her exceptional attention to detail and genuine passion for weddings, Catherine is there to guide couples through every stage of their journey. From bringing initial ideas to life to overseeing the finer details, she is committed to making the planning process enjoyable and ensuring every celebration at Lakeside is seamless, memorable and truly special.                                                                                                                                                      

Shauna Hennessy, Wedding & Events Sales Co-ordinator

Shauna has over 8 years’ experience in the hospitality industry, with a career spanning Food & Beverage, Front Office, Sales & Events and Management. Her varied experience has given her a strong understanding of every aspect of the guest journey, along with a genuine passion for creating memorable experiences.

In her role as Wedding & Events Sales Co-ordinator at Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre, Shauna loves getting to know each couple and helping bring their vision to life. From the very first enquiry and show-around to menus, planning and all the finer details, Shauna is there to guide couples through every step of their wedding journey.

Known for her friendly and approachable nature, attention to detail and organised, hands-on approach, Shauna takes pride in making the wedding planning process as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. She loves helping couples add personal touches to their day and believes that every wedding should feel completely unique to the couple.

With her extensive experience across the hotel industry and a genuine passion for weddings and events, Shauna is always on hand to offer advice, share ideas and make sure every couple feels excited and confident as they plan their special day.
