The Screen Icon that is the late Maureen O Hara had fond connections with the town of Kilalloe and our hotel, She officially opened our new ballroom back in the 1980's and we named our Bar after her. Her late Husband, Captain Charlie Blair flew flying boat plane, The Southern Cross (featured in photo), from Lough Derg just outside the Hotel.
To celebrate this connection we have linked up with Foynes Flying Boat Museum for this exciting offer. Explore the nostalgic era of the flying boats told through a comprehensive range of exhibits and graphic illustrations featured throughout the original Terminal Building.
